Community Service

Each year the Catchlight team participates in multiple full-day charity projects by donating labor and skill to transform spaces free of charge. In addition Catchlight Painting supports civic and charity organizations through direct contribution or by providing fundraising events with a Catchlight
Painter-For-A-Day certificate. Catchlight welcomes the opportunity to make a positive difference
and encourages new requests.

In the fall of 2012 owner Nigel Costolloe assembled a 30 person team including not only the Catchlight crew but painters from several other PDCA affiliated companies as well to revitalize the three story work space of Helping Hand, Monkey Helpers for the Disabled. Over a 12 hour period, walls were washed, prepped and freshly painted using over $2,000 worth of quality interior paint generously supplied by Benjamin Moore. Participating in large scale projects such as this; projects that directly assist organizations serving the disadvantaged or disabled, is tremendously rewarding for everyone involved.
